Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of Pivotal Learn, the internal training platform operated by Pivotal Future Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company no. 13611777), registered office Future Business Centre, Kings Hedges Road, Cambridge CB4 2HY (“Pivotal”). By signing in, you accept them.

1. Who can use it

Pivotal Learn is for Pivotal staff, contractors and other authorised team members whom we have given an account. It is not open to the public. Your account belongs to Pivotal and is personal to you.

2. Your account

Keep your sign-in details confidential; don’t share your account or let anyone else use it. You are responsible for activity under it. Tell us at privacy@pivotal.earth straight away if you think it has been compromised.

3. Acceptable use

Use the platform only for your own training. Don’t copy, download, record, share or distribute course materials outside Pivotal. Don’t try to access anyone else’s data or bypass security or access controls. Don’t upload unlawful, infringing or offensive material, and don’t use the platform for anything unlawful.

4. Content and intellectual property

Courses, videos, images and other materials are owned by Pivotal or its licensors and are licensed to you only for your own training, for as long as you have access. You gain no ownership of them. Anything you submit — quiz answers, uploaded files — you licence to Pivotal for operating the platform, and you confirm you have the right to submit it.

5. Training records

We record your progress, completions and quiz results. Platform administrators and, where relevant, your manager and the People team can see them, and they may be used for compliance reporting and in people-management processes. Our privacy policy explains how we handle this data.

6. Availability

The platform is provided “as is” and “as available”. We may change, suspend or withdraw it, or any content on it, at any time, and we don’t guarantee uninterrupted availability.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, so far as the law allows, Pivotal is not liable for loss of profit, loss of data, or indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform.

8. Ending access

We may suspend or remove your access at any time, and it ends when your engagement with Pivotal ends. Sections 4, 5, 7, 9 and 11 continue to apply afterwards.

9. Privacy

We handle your personal data as described in the Pivotal Future Ltd privacy policy.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page, and the date above shows when it last changed.

11. Governing law

These terms, and any dispute arising from them, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
